Laminated Glass

Laminated safety glass

Laminated safety glass is created by placing a layer of EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) between two (or more) pieces of glass. This safety technique prevents the glass from shattering into dangerous shards upon impact. Benefits include increased glass strength for safety, sound insulation, weather insulation, and potentially reduced UV effects.

Tempered laminated combination

To make a glass unit even stronger, you can temper the glass panes to add an extra layer of safety and strength. The glass pieces undergo the tempering process, which involves heating and rapidly cooling the glass to enhance its strength, followed by the lamination process. A combination of tempered and laminated glass can be up to 10 times stronger than regular annealed glass panes.

Laminated decorative glass

Custom colors, wire, and mesh interlayers can provide a unique decorative appearance to your glass. Adding chicken wire to antique textured glass, frosted glass, or restoration window glass enhances the charm of historic renovation projects. By combining patterned glass with back-painted glass, you can achieve an opaque color, or add a colored interlayer for a more translucent effect. The customization options are endless!
